Selangor Champions League has started as a simple community approach in football back in 2016, to unite the vast football and diverse football community, to celebrate the beautiful game, together. Since then it has continuously develop and made an impression to the football public in Malaysia about the need of a solid foundation in the football environment, which are the communities themselves. Consolidating together, connecting with each other, genuinely synergising collectively to cultivate a better and progressive football society. Together with a firm and energetic leadership of RMS and RMS’ team.
The destination towards a footballing state that is from the bottom to the top synchronised and dynamic will be a long journey and will have multiple challenges. This is where strong leadership jointly together with the strong and genuine community comes to work with each other wanting to achieve the desired destination.
The organising committee of the Selangor Champions League has been tirelessly working to raise the standards of the competition on both on and off the field. In that, teams have also raised their standards on and off the field of play. Presenting opportunities to youth and exciting players to showcase their talents on the pitch to the fans watching at the stadium, on the live stream, or giving faith to them on the Fantasy football. Additionally, fans of respective teams have been coming together to support their respective community and social teams with creative passion and unconditional love.
As an active community partner since 2016, it has been a delight to have witness the growth of the Selangor Champions League as well as assist in various areas over the time. And will hope to continue on for as many years to come. In order for this to continue on and to safeguard the spirit of this initiative for the future by presenting opportunities to sincere up and coming football fans and activists to collaborate and cultivate with Football Selangor and the Selangor Champions League. From, “Community Football Starts With Me“, “Earned, Not Given,“ and to “Liga Untuk Juara”, continuously looking forward to the future of Football Selangor and the Selangor Champions League.
Lastly, basing on the continuous and progressive track record of the football initiatives. As they have the tenacity to bring the football in the state, bottom to top, wholesomely to modern footballing times.
“Tenacity is a most underrated quality in life. We all speak about talent, intelligence, glamour. But tenacity is the common thing for every successful person in life. Maintain that motivation to go from A to B and to keep your focus on that target without any weakening. That is called tenacity; stamina in your motivation.”
