SCL2019 Fantasy Report - Week 3
Bukit Kapar Vs. MBSA: Ahmad Hafiz’ Late Show
In an end-to-end match, it was MBSA striker Ahmad Hafiz’ day as he netted a brace, including the winning the goal on the last minute. With that and being the man-of-the-match, he was able to score 13 points. Midfielder Amirul Syafieq scored the other goal to net 7 points. As for assist points, they go to Muhd Hafizi (4 pts) & substitute Sharul Nizam. However, Sharul was given a red card over two bookable offences that knocked his total down to 2 points. Not only that, defender Firdaus Haron sliced a cross into is own net that saw getting -2 points.
As for Bukit Kapar, It was Fitri Shazwan that supplied that cross that lead to the own goal to tie the game at 1-1 at that point, ending the day with 5 points. Firdaus Musa then scored a stunning free-kick that saw him net 6 points. However, whoever have their defenders, it’s not a good sight as their points total are all in the negative zone for this match.
Puchong Fuerza Gamestop Vs. Kingstown Klang: All Hans On Deck
Ghanaian striker, Kwofie Hans finally makes his mark as he scored a brace with some element of excellence playing a part in both those goals, and the man-of-the-match with a total of 13 points. Asnan Awal Hisham continue to score more points with a goal and an assist to end the day with 9 points. Dirga Surdi provided another assist for Kwofie’s first goal to get 6 points while Dzaiddin Zainudin gets an assist and a clean sheet for 9 points. Fellow defenders Afriyansah Jafar, Meer Adam Shah & Fazli Zulkifli and goalkeeper Redzuan Harun all get clean sheet points as well.
Kingstown Klang however endured a torrid day as no player gets above two points where it is scored by just starting on the pitch.
NPNG Damansara Damai Vs. SA Klasiko: Wong’s Winner
In a monumental battle, SA Klasiko emerged victorious with Wong Kah Heng continuing his scoring run where he netted the goal that proved to be the winner, getting 6 points in the process. However, the man-of-the-match belongs to captain Faiq Muhd Shah (4 pts) following a commanding performance at the back. Ammar Anuwar scored the opener and 7 points in the process. Amir Safuan & Rasydan Abdul Malek provided the assists for both goals as they get 5 points each.
Ridhwan Johan was the only player that got more than the standard two points as he scored NPNG’s only goal. Though a yellow card knocked his total down slightly to 5 points before being subbed off.
Gombak RRM Vs. SA AZE FC: RRM Finally Off The Mark
With both sides looking for a win, it was Gombak RRM who got it as defender Rafsham Iqmal scored a huge total of 12 points with a goal & a clean sheet with the other goalscorer Rameshjit Singh getting 7 points. Though Nur Affandi would’ve been on the score sheet instead of Rameshjit had he not missed his penalty, though a tenacious performance got him the man-of-the-match that saw him net 4 points. Maybe goalkeeper Firdaus Yusof will feel hard done by for not getting the man-of-the-match, but at least he got clean sheet points along with four other defenders.
It’s getting real worrisome for managers who has AZE players as no outfield player gets anything in return. However, Syahidan Syaaban was the only execption when he was able to save Nur Affandi’s penalty to get 4 points. Substitute Syafiq Rosli somehow became the worst scoring player when he picked up two yellow cards in a space of four minutes, winding up with -3 points.
Belia Selangor Vs. SLB Up FC: Clean Sheets All Around
This wasn’t a memorable match by any means, but the good news for managers is that whoever has the following players will get the clean sheet points. Belia Selangor goalkeeper Danial Asraf and defenders Farhan Mad Sukri, Firdaus Abdul Razak & Syafham Ikmal gets 6 points each as a result.
SLB Up though only has two defenders getting clean sheet points, which were Zameer Zainun with 5 pts and Khairul Faizzhuri who got the man-of-the-match as well with 9 pts. Goalkeeper Arzran Joha & defender Hafizin Shahrudin also started. However, they didn’t the clean sheet as both were substituted somewhere along the second half. Though Arzran’s case was much more serious as he needed to be stretchered off due to injury.
SA PIB FC Vs. Kuala Selangor Batu Dua FC: He’s At It Again
This match was crying out for a hero. Once again, at the final minute, M. Terrence answered the call when he scored the winner from substitute Steven Raj’s (4 pts) assist to continue his hot form from last week, earning the man-of-the-match and scoring 10 more points. That now carries him to become the overall top points scorer. That goal denied PIB defenders & goalkeeper Izzat Abdul Rahim precious clean sheet points. However, regular starter Faizal Sumar was missing from the matchday squad.
Batu Dua defenders Reegan Abraham & S. Tinagaran and goalkeeper Mohd Sabri continue their flawless defensive record as it’s now three clean sheets out of three games.
MPKJ FC Vs. Subang Protap II: Nurzaidi’s Night
Muhd Nurzaidi made his first start and what an impact he made. He scored two goals that earned him the man-of-the-match and 16 points in the process, becoming the top points scorer of matchday three. Aiyakhaire Daniel continues his scoring run with a beautiful goal and got 6 points. Defenders Alhapis Alwi & Muruga Kumaran got 9 points each for an assist each and the clean sheet while midfielder Solomon Enkunke provided the assist for Aiyakhaire’s goal for 6 points.
Subang Protap players sadly drew blanks for the second week running.
Cyberjaya Teleflow Vs. Bangi Jang’s Trooper: Goals 0-2 Red Cards
Somehow, the match ended with no goals despite a huge number of attacks Teleflow had. Instead, we were treated to one red card to each team in the final minute. Jang’s defender, Ibrahim Aziz (2 pts) and moments later, Teleflow striker Syazwan Nordin (-1 pts) were given straight read cards for unsavory actions. Ibrahim for an ugly foul on Muhammed Jawo and Syazwan for reacting unnecessarily.
All of that overshadowed Jang’s keeper, Zailan Ikmar’s performance. Pulling off a number of great saves, he earned the man-of-the-match as a result scoring 9 points as he was the top scorer of this match. Sadly, the goalless draw has snapped a promising run for strikers Hasrul Nurkholis & Ibrahim Suhaib, the top points scorers overall for Jang’s Trooper.
Another thing to note that Cyberjaya Teleflow has yet to concede with Haziq Noh & Lucky Ogu conitunuing to rack up points. However, defender Fairuz Abdul Aziz was strangely missing from the squad.
