A New Season, A Shared Heritage: Selangor FC and adidas Unveil 2026/27 Kits
SELANGOR, 20 AUGUST 2026 – A new season, a new look, but the same colours that have carried generations of Selangor supporters.
adidas and Selangor Football Club (Selangor FC) have officially unveiled the club’s 2026/27 Home and Away Kits, bringing together the Red Giants’ long-standing identity with a modern take on the shirts that will represent the club this season.
As Official Kit Partner, adidas continues its collaboration with Selangor FC, with the latest designs looking to bridge the club’s heritage with the generations of supporters who continue to carry that identity forward.
The 1921 Heritage Redefined collection draws from Selangor FC’s rich history while giving the club’s identity a modern look for the new season.
The Home Kit stays true to the iconic Selangor red, refreshed with contemporary detailing, while the Away Kit takes a cleaner and more understated approach. Both feature the “1921” mark on the back of the jersey, commemorating the club’s first-ever match and connecting its history with the present.
Speaking at the launch at Sunway Pyramid, Preston Page, Country Manager of adidas Malaysia, said the collection represents the first chapter of the partnership between adidas and Selangor FC, with both sides sharing an ambition to grow the game and inspire the next generation.
Selangor FC CEO Dr Johan Kamal Hamidon echoed the sentiment, describing the collection as more than just a kit, but a reflection of the club’s identity and heritage shared by generations of players and supporters.
Fans can also get closer to the story behind the collection through the 1921 Heritage Redefined pop-up experience at Sunway Pyramid, featuring a history wall and interactive elements celebrating the club's journey.
The Selangor FC 26/27 Home and Away Kits, priced at RM199, are now available through selected official adidas stores, adidas' online store, the Selangor FC Flagship Store and selected retail partners.
