Pitch Side: Liga Prihatin?
Now we know that FAM, KBS, MSN, and MKN are working together to make sure that Harimau Malaya can prepare themselves for the upcoming Asian/World cup Qualifiers. Now we want to know what is going on at MFL, what is the plan? Thanks PBS for giving me the room to share my concerns.
Football Malaysia Limited Liability Partnership or Malaysia Football League - has a lot on their plates to deliver. Ever since they govern Malaysian domestic football. I know that we all know stories of what is happening in and around our local football. There are truths and there are fictions. Ultimately the management of communication and information by football authorities for the most part has been lacklustre. It is one of the reason why there are these truths and fictions being build across because the governance creates a void of doubt for fans to eat up. Then continue to be concerned. Then fans decline their interest in local football and go elsewhere.
Local football lacks strong characters. Mainly in the administrative and governance sense to pull in interest to build the domestic football pyramid from top to bottom. When we talk about football league do not forget the teams who are finding it hard in M4 and M3. They too have dreams to go to the Premier and Super League.
Where are all the strong characters in football? Do they even exist? Did they give up on us?
About 6 weeks away from our league to start. Has there been indications that we are on track? After a disappointing 2020 - our leaders in football needs to help up to show that there actually care for our local football and not see it go to waste in flames.
