Monkey Wrench

I have put a lot of time, energy, & effort into football, on & off the playing area. This sport which I grew into slowly as a kid. Became an integral part of my daily life. I love how it evolves & helps me as a human being. The more I understood about the dynamics of the game, the more I improved as a person. Use those values to help others.

The sport marketed it in a way that it was a one man game when I was growing up. But piercing through the marketing shroud & as time went on. Football showed its true colour as it is a team game, it is about the individuals in the team regardless of your background. Working together, building a collective effort, & creating sincere community building between people who wouldn't be friends, if it wasn't for football. Outside of the sport, personally & professionally, especially in the last 24 months or so. Things have been brutally 'flipping' intense than the usual. Unfortunately, the intensity spilled over into the sport that I love. It's confusing, frustrating, & overall overwhelming draining to keep on going.

What's keeping me going are the people of bola sepak. Who reminded me, through their words & importantly, their progressive actions that, in life, there's always a fighting chance to get back into the game. Work hard & work smart within available abilities to push forward.

What's keeping me going, is my family & friends who have no interest in football, but recognised how much I love the game. Telling me through their honest words & especially their love, telling me to keep on doing what I love additionally make a positive impact through football.

At this point in time, still picking up a lot of shattered pieces, using those pieces to redesign, rebuild, & rejuvenate. (Hope to finally go on that holiday.)

I have futsal later, will take those worries out of the court, with laughter, positivity, and have a good time with good people of bola sepak. It's always a great reminder how beautiful life could be and to keep on going despite numerous monkey wrenches. To whoever you are, if you feel the same. Know that you are not alone in this world. Keep on going, play sports from time to time, it definitely helps. And please have a good weekend!
